The Uddhav government has ordered a high-level inquiry into the matter. So far 110 people have been arrested. At the same time, now Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over the phone. The Home Minister has sought a report from the Maharashtra government on this matter.

It is being told that when the two sadhus were going from Mumbai to Gujarat via Interior Road in Gadchinchale village of Palghar, then someone sparked a rumor that some thieves were running away. After this, a crowd of dozens of people broke up on him. It is said that the whole incident happened in front of the policemen present there but the police did nothing. The people present there attacked Rami, a driver and policeman along with the sadhus. After the attack, the sadhus were admitted to the hospital where they were declared brought dead.

After the killing of sadhus in Palghar, a lot of anger is visible in the Sant Samaj. Mahant Narendra Giri, president of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, has warned the government that if all the accused in this case are not punished then there will be a big agitation in Maharashtra. In this case, BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj has tweeted that all the accused should be charged.

State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, giving information about the order of inquiry on Sunday, also warned not to give any communal color to the incident. Deshmukh tweeted, ‘Police have detained 101 people involved in the murder of three people going to Surat in Palghar. I have ordered a high-level inquiry into the murder case.
