First death from corona virus (COVID-19)

One of them was a 31-year-old patient from Ahladadpur, while the other was Merajuddin Usmanpada, a resident of Delhi Gate. He was 55 years old. It was learned about him that he was admitted in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Aligarh and was on ventilator. On Tuesday, information has been received that he has died. Preparations are being made to handover his deadbody.

19 deaths in the state so far

So far, 6 patients have died from Corona in Agra, three each in Meerut and Moradabad, one in Aligarh, Basti, Lucknow, Varanasi, Bulandshahar, Kanpur and Firozabad. State Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that 1294 cases have been reported so far in the state. There are 1134 active cases. After treatment, 140 of the 1294 patients have recovered completely and have been sent home. 53 districts of the state are affected by Corona.
