UP Election: Why BSP’s focus is on Ambedkar Nagar, Satish Chandra Mishra is camping!

Ambedkar Nagar, Tanda Akbarpur, a little ahead of Faizabad, these are all such areas where the population from the beginning has been a BSP supporter. Even during the temple movements, a large gathering of people had reached Ayodhya from here.

Lucknow. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is holding Brahmin conventions all over UP to attract Brahmins again like in 2007. In this episode, a program is being organized in Ambedkar Nagar on Saturday. But if you look at the politics of Ambedkar Nagar and the reason for the two-day continuous program in the BSP’s conference there, then it is very surprising in itself. Actually, camp is being done in Ambedkar Nagar on both the days till Saturday and Sunday i.e. 24th and 25th July. Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati also started her political career from Ambedkar Nagar and that is why BSP’s eyes are specially on Ambedkar Nagar. That is why programs are being organized there for two days.

Let us inform that in 1999, Mayawati was elected MP in the elections held on Akbarpur reserved parliamentary seat. Then after becoming the Chief Minister in the year 2002, he resigned from this seat. After this, he gave ticket to his most trusted BSP leader Tribhuvandutt in the by-election. He was successful in becoming an MP by defeating SP candidate Mannulal Manjhi. Mayawati also won from Jahangirganj assembly seat in the same district in 2002 and was elected MLA. Mayawati has won the Lok Sabha elections from Ambedkar Nagar four times in 1989, 1998, 1999 and 2004.

Ambedkar Nagar, Tanda Akbarpur, a little ahead of Faizabad, these are all such areas where the population from the beginning has been pro-BSP. Even during the temple movements, a large gathering of people had reached Ayodhya from here. In Ambedkarnagar, a large section of OBC Dalit lives there. Therefore, this area is very important from the point of view of BSP. Senior journalist Ratan Manilal says that I think that the Bahujan Samaj Party must have been a big reason behind choosing Ambedkar Nagar that the temple movement, that is, in the 90s, more and more people of this area had reached this movement.

Depressed class very active
At the same time, BSP supporters are here in large numbers. If these two things are combined, then politically the Dalit class has been very active here and there are strong supporters of BSP. If there is a big event organized by the Bahujan Samaj Party, then they get a large audience. As far as he can get his point across.
